United Kingdom 2010 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Auto Santorini Black
Landrover on the straight and narrow with 2 wheel drive

Had a run in this on Saturday, ride a bit bumpy. Special version with 2WD. Conversion looked straightforward using dropper brackets from the spring hangers to a lower chassis. Chain drive from the rear wheel hubs. At least you don't need power steering!
.
Now where's that Freelander with a noisy rear diff? follow this principle but take the drive from the front wheels!.
.
Kind regards from Fred

the location is
http://www.statfoldbarnrailway.co.uk/
Its a privately owned farm where they grow and process grains into oils. The owner also bought 'The Hunslet Locomotive Company' and still makes the odd new steam loco following on in sequence ID. He also owns all the restored locos on site which have come for example from Sugar plantations.
£10.00 for a dayticket was a good investment for a whole day viewing and travelling on his trains, its a good run around a big field to a loop, twin tracks and his garden railway.
.
Kind regards from Fred.

For standard gauge you can leave the wheels on and have something which is on-road/off-road/on-track/off-track.
