Karchers eat capacitors, especially if used with a coiled extension lead, cheap fix if you know how and folk must get fleeced left right and centre for it.

i have had my Karcher for more years than I can remember and this is the first capacitor that has blown up, the power lead was fully extended as was the lance hose think it more a case of old age than anything else Ex 2010 Freelander2 GS-e Diesel manual Silver owner

Fully extended the cap will,be fine, with a coiled lead it's a different story and the caps don't like it. The smaller 'domestic' models are bad for it.
Look after them and used correctly they do last though Thumbs Up
