Just booked in online, party of six, without prebooking our seats

2 sitting together, one on row behind, another 3 rows behind them and me sat on my own on the opposite side of the plane 4 rows back (ideal away from the hassle and bustle of the kids)

But the clowns think its perfectly acceptable for my 4 year old daughter to sit on her own 7 rows in front of me.

We ring up and were told that it was more than his jobs worth to move her, unless we all pay for prebooked seats or to sort it out on the day at check in or as we sit down on the flight

So I had to ask for the supervisor and eventually got it sorted, quite easily to be honest, once speaking to someone who isn't a jobsworth, as you can't fly unless your 14 years old on a plane without a responsible adult sitting next to you, never mind that she could have been sitting next to god know who

so a computer can fly a spaceship to the moon and back, but we still struggle to get a child sitting next to a adult

Seems common sense didn't matter until you persued the matter.
