In the blue banner near the top of the page you have "profile" click on "profile" you can then make changes.

I don't believe you can change it as when you try to submit it, this message will appear

It works for me, just changed the email address, received a PM on it, just changed it back to the original address.

Don't understand why you are getting the pwd error, you don't need to enter a password to change your email.

I just changed it and back again using chrome on my tablet as you have said, but earlier with IE11 on my desktop it wouldn't accept it. Must be an IE thing
