Wow, 20000miles and 2.5 years old up pops "transmission fault, traction reduced" or similar, No peculiar noises, drives normally. Dealer replacing Haldex under warranty! I thought they had sorted the Haldex problem? |

Mine failed after 18000 miles. I think the problem is still there! |

Turned out to be the Pump, replaced under warranty very quickly and politely by Harwoods of Pulborough.

It's the FB6 fuse on the boot fuse box. |

Pegleg might have some input here, generally fuses are chosen to protect the circuit wiring, the device on the end of the wire will usually have its own protection on board in the form of a fuse/breake of some sort. The higher value possibly to cope with peaks on start up and prevent premature blowing through degradation, although as Alex says, two years without a hitch is good going. |

I'll second that. Had my 5A fuse in for about a year - no dramas. MY10 TD4 SE Auto |

I have a FL2 2007. Is it better to let the 15A fuse. I think it's a Haldex 3, isn't it? |
