JLR SDD / Poor fuel quality / A couple of questions ...

I've just recently replaced the EGR due to getting EGR sensor circuit B errors. Whilst this replacement seems to fixed the sensor error, I'm still getting a reduced performance message.

I believe this to be related to the fuel filter becoming blocked due to poor quality fuel. It happened in the past, i replaced the filter, and put it down to being unlucky. My problems started again about 1wk back after filling up a full tank from the local (crap) garage. Really wish I hadn't, but the wife insists on running the bloody car down to empty "cause she doesn't like filling cars up" Evil or Very Mad

Anyhows. I have V134 JLR SDD up and running and talking to the car. I can bluff my way around a few of the areas in it, but i'm finding it really obscure to work with.

My issue at the moment is that I have an error message on the dash, but no obvious way to see what the car thinks is generating that particular message. Whats the best way to read what the car is thinking.

Also, how do you see 'live' data from the car when the engine is running. A lot of it seems to be about stepping the grease monkeys through things ... just give me the data please! Smile

Does anyone have any tips on how to get the best out of SDD?

Thanks in advance.
