Did you know that your Freelie is actually made by Jaguar?

This afternoon I received a nice message by email to my phone from Hunters Derby.

Interesting that I walked in the house and the I phone peeped with the Jaguar message and by 30 minutes later when I looked at the Laptop the error had been rectified on the image. I still have the original which makes me smile!

All the bits I have seen off my Freelander have Ford Motor Company FoMoCo stamped on them. I think its a heavily modfied Transit Van

I know that the Jaguar X Type was on the production line at Halewood but wasn't the ford escort made many moons ago?
