Hi,

I have a Blackvue dashcam installed with a Smart Power (alternative to Power Magic) control unit.. This supplies power to the dashcam until the car's battery gets to 12.8 v then it shuts down.

Since I've installed it, the stop-start function of my TD4_e rarely works. I took the car out for a long run the other day - the stop-start function started working again for a couple of days but now it's back to how it was, ie not working.

I know the start-stop function is subject to a few different influences, temperature, aircon, etc. Also, I guess the battery has to be permanently fully charged for the stop-start to function properly - could my Smart Power be depleting the battery too much?

Anyone with a similar setup? Anyone with a Smart Power / Power Magic fitted AND their start-stop works all the time?
