Strange exhaust noise

Hi sorry for asking a question on my first post but this noise is driving me nuts.
Freelander 2. 2010 model xs. Automatic gearbox. 42000 miles
Whilst driving at 60-70 mph every 30 seconds it sounds as if the exhaust blows for a second or 2 there is no loss of power when it happens
Just had the car dealer serviced and new brake discs, shoes and pads fitted to the back.

Hi Jim, has this started happening just after the service, ie was ok before the service ?

what else was done during the service ?

Hi Iain. Yes it just started after the service. The rear brakes were seized that's why completely new brake parts at the rear. It was a 40000 mile dealer service. Also more than usual road noise coming from the rear.

Jim, have you checked for any excess heat from the back wheels/discs after a short run ?

did they renew the handbrake pads as well ?

sounds as if the problem is related to the work done on the service, possibly something binding ?

also make sure your wheel nuts are tightened !!
