France 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Auto Orkney Grey
Couple of niggles with new FL2

I am just familiarising myself with my new Freelander - there are a couple of annoying things that are giving me a headache:

1). (posted elsewhere, so I won't elaborate) - the "Say What You See" facility in navigation has an issue between English spoken instructions, and French mapping.

2). The "Speed warning", when set, is virtually inaudible. I have found various volume settings in the Setup which I have tweaked, but it seems to make no difference. There's not much point in a warning that can't be heard - potentially expensive in terms of fines...

3). I know you can vary the brightness of the dashboard lighting with a little wheel to the left of the steering wheel (LHD), but this has no effect on the backlighting of the speedometer or rev counter, which remain dim - is this by accident, or design?

No doubt there will be other questions a time goes by, but has anyone any suggestions?

Ta.
