Electric seat problem

Seat won't travel all the way forward just comes to a stop, tried passenger side and that travels about 6" further. Hence my wife is struggling to reach pedals, have read thread on similar problem, and suggested that I trade her in for taller model. But was threatened with no supper for the forseable future. So help required please as she isn't such a bad cook!
cheers Martin.

It's true that light travels faster than sound, some people look quite intelligent until you hear them speak.

Is this the switch that you push forward or is there a limit switch under the seat that has moved, stopping the seat going any further forward?

Had a look under seat today and come across volvo stickers, so Googled volvo seat faults and suggests diagnostic plug in to read codes, but sounds like it needs end calibration recalibrated, not sure reason why, but going in for service soon, so hopefully they will check it out.
