Plate 57??? What is this? Other numbers seen as well 58, 59?

Okay, I've had this car for a month now, my first Land Rover.
It will be easier to follow the forum when understanding what you guys are talking about.

Yes MY is manufacturing year.

07,57,08,58 etc. relate to the year in which the car was registered and the number appears as part of the registration "plate" number.

Your english appears to be a bit better than my Finnish!  John

MY stands for Model Year.
The Model Year usually runs from September to September.
For example MY11 started production in September 2010, MY12 started in September 2011, MY13 started in September 2012. But just to keep everyone guessing MY14 started in November 2013.

That plate-thing could be quite hard to find out without explanation.
