Land Rover Experience - Peckforton Castle - Pic Heavy!!

Morning all,

I was lucky enough to have two of these vouchers available, so....finally got them booked! Decided to have a play in the new Range Rover on the first. Got a Freelander experience at the end of the month. This is the Peckforton Castle venue, fantastic place.

Staff were extremely helpful, instructor was relaxed and really knew his stuff! We went for a blast on the local A roads, what a machine! Then returned to the castle grounds for the off road part. The electronics and capability of this vehicle really surpassed my expectations. It didnt struggle with any of the route, no wheel spin, just pure and simple ease. Was like driving an off road sofa! Just a pity I dont have the £87k needed to buy one!

The pics!!

Looks like fun and games was had by all....glad you enjoyed it. I think we will all be steering clear of buying Fuji White vehicles with Oxford plates on them for the significant future ha ha Rolling with laughter Foraging near Gaydon....

They all look remarkably clean considering the weather! I'll have to try to get a day at Eastnor sometime as that is quite close to home.

We were in Iceland in August near Akureyri and came across 6 white Discos on a trek around the coast. It looked like a corporate event for journos or the like. Volcanic mud did show up well on those though, they were mostly grey. Support vehicle was a grey Defender which looked like it had been doing the job for a while. GONE - '07 TD4 GS manual Zermatt Silver

As someone who's driven ours up a 1200m mountain and across a desert (both times to the great surprise of the modified Patrol/Landcruiser mobs we met at various campsites), quite a lot is the answer Very Happy

Don't know why they bother with four wheel drive, it looks like they only use all four wheels when parked.

Great photos, whetted my appetite now.
