So far I've had two e-mails telling me that they have removed the advance charges for services that I don't want/haven't ordered, but this isn't showing yet on my online bill. They don't seem keen to remove these extra charges for the previous month though. Methinks a switch to another provider may be on its way. |

I'm with Sky for my phone and broadband and never had a problem with them, no extra charges etc. My only bad experience with BT was when trying to get my old house reconnected after leaving vigin media was that nobody answered the phone. It took me 4 days of trying to get through before I finally spoke to somebody. Poor customer service for someone wanting to use BT! Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

These where advertised a little while back ( I read the small print ).... so I pulled 1571 which to my mind will cost them all the calls they did profit from when a voice mail was left.

I pay my line rental annually, so that wasn't an issue. The calling plan charge has gone up slightly, but it's the sudden appearance of new charges - and two months' worth at that - that rang the alarm bells. The thought of ditching the landline completely had occurred to me - I'll look into it now I think. |

I have to use a land line as my house seems to be in a "dead zone" for radio signals. Even the Freelander radio goes mushy when I pull up outside!. I therefore use "Plusnet"for my broadband and land line phone. ("Good honest broadband from Yorkshire") Far more user friendly than BT who have made unbelievable c**k-ups in the past. Yet ironically, owned by them! I pay annually for the line rental too. 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

It just doesn't occur to them that they'll lose customers from this. Or do they rely on us all being too lazy to do anything about it? Not to mention the people who never check their bill and will go on paying over the odds.

Very impressed with the French system. We are with Orange France (as are most people here) and for £35 a month we get broadband, a mobile contract (100 minutes a month), TV box plus unlimited free phone calls to 100 countries in the world at any time. Means we can phone family in the UK for free at any time. John

They have to get back the money they spent setting up BT Sport and buying the content. They can't put it all on the subscription so it looks like we are all paying. Time to change I think. GONE - '07 TD4 GS manual Zermatt Silver

Anyone managed to get the charges waived? I suppose your on a sticky wicket when they either emailed you or sent a letter outlining the changes. I got the two chargeable services stopped when I got my bill, although it annoys me one was free for 12 months anyway, all you had to do was ask, but if you didn't, you got charged. |

As above, they have (they say) refunded advance charges for this month, but are still charging me for Jan. It's only a couple of £s, but it's still annoying. |
