United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Stornoway Grey
Recommendations for my new FL2

Hi all,

I have just recently purchased my FL2, I had the older model before hand.

I just wondered what the 'basic' changes most people do to have the maximum affect?

I have just bought a Stornoway grey HSE 2.2 TD4 Very Happy With cream leather interior. (very happy by the way)

I have only ordered clear side repeaters so far...

what's the next step would you suggest?

Sasha x

Hi Sasha,

Have a look at the link to my first Freelander 2 which I sold in November last year. It should give you some ideas. It's a long read, but loads of pictures and details etc.

Then this link below is for my new HSE Lux biography.

Hope this helps.

s44shr - I would go for the preventative maintenance modifications first such as the power steering fluid flush and reservoir change, additional earth lead fitting, tail gate switch check/change, internal volumetric alarm sensor etc etc.

All of these jobs are relatively low level in terms of DIY skills, parts if required and time but could save you a bundle in the future - both time and money.

Just use the search function for each item and you'll find loads of info, how - to guides and pictures and if your not sure - just ask.

Then you can move onto the goodies like LED internal lighting, side lights, upgraded sat-nav, internal trim changes, rear light cluster upgrade....the list seems to get longer the more you read the forum.

Whatever you do, post some pictures of the mod's. MY2010 TD4 HSE Santorini Black, 19" Alloys, Almond Leather, Lux Pack, Rear Spoiler, Adaptive Xenons

Being a 2007 model there is a chance that the power steering may also have been done Question
