Has any one got the number... need to find the part.

I can find an arm but not the spring.

Does any one know in the mean time if the passenger spring is the exact same?

The arms have different parts numbers on the parts website and the spring isn't listed as far as I can see as a separate item.
Has the spring broken?

No... the wiper is leaving mist on that side compared to the other. Both have new ( and not cheap) wipers plus I have rainex on too. Because of that I'm thinking contact is been lost.

Done all the normal clean blades / bend etc with no real difference.

Screen treatments such as rainx can cause a "mist" to follow the wiper blade as it moves across the screen. Can also cause juddering of the wipers. Very annoying.

+1 for BossBob comments, Rainex seems to cause all sorts of problems on the Freelander 2, quite a few posts on here regarding it, juddering is the main problem, it seems to effect the Flat Blade type wiper though, on cars with the old style wiper it seems fine.

I know its the wiper as I had this problem before rainex plus the other side wipes spot on...

Got a spring on the way now off ebay so I will see if that makes any improvement.

OK... spring in my hand along with the little clip thing which goes at the base.

Does any one have experience of replacing one ?

I'm hoping I do not have to take the arm off as its cack weather out there....
