I have recently removed the side steps that came fitted to my Freelander (wanted the extra ground clearance for the odd bit of offloading!)

As such I now have a set of original Land Rover side steps taking up more than their fair share of space in my shed, they are in good condition, and include all the original fittings, bolts etc which came off without any great effort and are all in good condition ready to refit! (All fixings are bagged up and labeled for O/S and N/S to assist re-fitting!!)

Each step has 3 prongs which attach the step to the car, on one of the steps (drivers side) the middle prong is now not connected to the step (due to aforementioned offroading!) The lose prong still fits to the bracket under the car and supports the step as it should but originally the step was plastic riveted to the prong - as mentioned everything still fits together and the step is supported in the right place but due to this I would accept the lower price of just £85 for the steps.

These are available for immediate collection from Leeds or if further afield I may be able to arrange transport (my father runs a freight business!) at reasonable costs.

The above 2 images show the damaged supporting peg, the peg is normally attached (rather weakly) to the base of the step with a plastic rivet which has been broken, once the brackets and step are in place and bolted to one another the peg provides the required support for the step and will not move
