I've also had a new set of Wranglers on this week Goodyear Efficientgrip SUV
235 / 65 R17 104V. £486 all in fitted by a firm called "Tyres on the drive" , I'm really pleased with them as they've transformed the car ride back to feeling new and are noticably quieter, hopefully they'll last longer than the ACCELERA IOTA ones that were fitted new when i bought the car which only lasted 13,000 miles.

No free puncture repairs I'm afraid. having said that, every time I get a puncture is where it can't be repaired.

Camskill tyres can give a good price. £108 for Wranglers at the moment but you have to get them fitted

Had Goodyear Wrangler M&S on my GS from new - great tyres. When I wanted to replace them at 42,000miles the dealer told me that they were no longer available - the replacement was now called the Efficient Grip. Fitted them and they seem to be much the same as the old ones. Holding up well - barely worn at 22,000 miles. They are definitely M&S rated tyres, ok for light off road use and good in cold weather and light snow - although not winter tyres. Manufacturer's standard fit so definitely suitable.

LR are still fitting Goodyear Wrangler HP AW to new vehicles, they're still shown on the Goodyear website and available from blackcircles for one.

Land Rover fit the Wrangler M+S as standard. Had them on both my 13 and 63 plates.

Not sure what your tyre dealer is on about - maybe it is that Goodyear use the phrase "Efficient Grip" across a range of tyres for lots of vehicles.
Categorically definitely for sure however the Goodyear Efficient Grip in 235/65 R17 is a 4x4 SUV tyre - cause it says so on the sidewall - and on Goodyear's web site...http://www.goodyear.eu/uk_en/tires/4x4/efficientgrip-suv/index.jsp?from=browse

This is what the road biased Goodyear Efficient Grip tyres can allow you to do should you do occasionally stray well off road - if of course you have them attached to a Freely 2..... loaded to the windows with logs made no difference at all - no wheelspin - the last vehicle to get up this field (apart from my Landy) was a tractor...

The Wrangler HP is much the same tyre- it is rated as the same off road, slightly worse for dry road grip but slightly better for wet road grip. I think the HP is also rated slightly better in low temperatures.
If you are going off road either of these tyres is not going to give you the traction of an all terrain tyre and will be more susceptible to punctures - but they allow a Freely2 to go places most other cars cannot .[/img]
