Load Ratings?!?!

Hi Guys,

I have 235/65 r 17 Wranglers on just now but they will need replaced shortly, I was looking to go a bit more aggressive towards a general grabber AT. The wranglers are 104V and the AT's are 108H, can anyone steer me in the right direction as to whether they will be suitable?

It was my understanding that you needed to replace like for like for insurance?

Cheers

Perfectly suitable - several of us are running the GGAT and find it an excellent tyre. H is, iirc, 130 mph, which is well above the fl2's top speed. If in doubt, though, speak to your insurer - that way you know you won't have a problem later.

I put the GGAT's on mine, just for piece of mind I phoned my insurers. They told me that as long as the tyre size hasn't changed then changing the rating of the tyre isn't an issue. That was with L+V. My tyres were great when it last snowed, generally been fine on the road too. Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

Thanks for the reply! How are they for noise and economy etc? They are quite a bit more aggressive than the wranglers

Cheers!

The GGAT's replaced my Wranglers that were down to 3mm. Economy wise I didn't notice any difference. Noise wise they are very similar to the worn Wranglers in my opinion. I certainly don't have any issues with them. Great on snow, never noticed them been slippy on the road etc. Many people have them on the FL2. Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.
