Passenger door window operation

Has anybody had a problem with the one touch close operation of there passenger door window, I have just recently developed a problem with my window , IE when I use the i touch function to close the window it will close but the drops down to half way, if any of you havbe had this problem can you let me know how you managed to rectify the problem.

If I keep my finger on the close button if will close without any problem.

I await your reply. Freelander 2 SD4 hse Lux Loire Blue, side steps and roof rails fitted

try silicon spray on the door seals , seems the window is bouncing off the seals due to too much resistance? At work

This was happening on mine after delivery. You need to perform a window reset, about which there is a section in your handbook. It seems you have to 'teach' the window what the up and down positions are. Good luck. FL2 TD4 S Baltic Blue, with twin electrics and towbar, roofrails, luggage cover, spare wheel and mudflaps.

I was under the impression that window reset was needed only after the power was disconnected.
I did not know that this problem can apear in normal operation. FREELANDER 2 TD4 SE (XS UK) IZMIR BLUE SIDE STEPS COLD PACK BI-XENON TINTED WINDOWS - AND PROUD OF HER

I had this, just some dirt in the seal. Easily sorted.
I also used some silicon spray and it worked a treat.

Just had the same fault on my rear window, this was the anti trap switch and has been replaced.
