WANTED: Topix Pic Of The Exhaust & Where It Mounts ?

Hi all - I know some of you have access so I was wondering if some one could have a look and help me.

I have a metallic noise I am trying to track down and I THINK its the exhaust not mounted properly.

I've done my best to look but I think it need to go on a ramp... but before then I was going to have a look for some where I may be able to have a quick look my self ( ala lump + car ).

I've also looked at the wiper mount under the baffle and the doesn't seem to be fixed how ever I do not think its that.

I need to check the sump cover is not loose too.

I was leaning to it been the front passenger shock but I've sailed through the MOT....

Your help is much appreciated.

Have you checked the heat shields that fit between the exhaust and the underbody? They can rattle, if that is the noise you have. They are held on with springy washer things that I found need pushing on a little more, hey presto, rattle gone. I could reach them without needing any lifting of the car. 2016 BMW X3 30d SE in red
