We sell hundreds of Vredestein Wintrac's and get great feedback, no experience with the Nokian sorry.

As they say there are only so many strings you can fit on your bow. Andy.

Possible options

Vredestein Wintrac 4 xtreme 235/60 R18 107H XL or Nokian WR SUV 3 235/60 R18 107H XL

any comments or advice ? Biggest difference I can see is rating C C for Nokian C E for Vreds

No experience of the Nokian but I am running on Vreds on 17s. I would not worry about the tyre ratings. Somewhere on here is an explanation of how these ratings are awarded which shows how meaningless they are.

The other day I had cause to stand on the binders on a very wet road and she stopped beautifully, no skids or slides, very impressed with the tyre, not so impressed with the tart that caused me to test them.

Well you should not have been eating a tart when driving Ben, or doing anything else to a tart come to mention it Smile

Would be a lot better to see some proper cold temps and a little snow chucked in. Thumbs Up Andy.

I prefer the ride of my Ranger Ice's. I will keep them on until end of March at least anyway. Whistle 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)
