Evening, just wondering if anyone has any recomendations for garages in and around Derby. My Freelander is due it's service and I'm not sure I can stretch to Hunter's prices!

I used Hunters but for the next service I was going to give these guys a try;

A friend has used them for his Discovery and says they are good. Prices are roughly half Hunters.

I have used DLS in Wirksworth seem to do a good job at a fair price.

I've had a Defender transfer box changed by Shardlow 4x4 a couple of years ago but wasn't that impressed with them.
I've heard good things about Alldrive 4x4 near Swadlincote, south of Derby but that was for older Defenders and Series motors.

Alan Smith has been around a very long time specialising in Land Rover & Range Rover servicing. He has a very loyal customer base. I know folks who have used his garage since the 80's and still do.

As for "Derby 4x4" - I do not know of anyone who uses this garage, and I do not know of the two partners whose garage it is.
