Just wondering if you bought yours second hand did you struggle to find it? I'm looking for one at minute and its like a wild goose chase! To be fair I'm on a tight budget plus the ones I have found are not the higher spec I'd be after.

High spec, tight budget and Bali blue the odds are stacked against you.

My parents bought a GS in Bali blue when LR first launched the colour looked great but I don't think it was a common colour.

Specs/ budget might have to stretch but I'm not changing colour even if husband hates it! He's got his new vehicle so now it's my choice

It is a nice colour well worth holding on for, sometimes looks dark blue other times purple, similar to the Cadbury chocolate wrapper

Even further than the last one I found. Was all set to go get one and private seller informed me someone had phoned today offering more cash if they could come first! Lovely one too, privacy glass, spoiler, leather etc gutted is putting it mildly

I really wanted one of this colour. They do however seem to be very rare.
Having changed mine recently, going from Tambora Flame - I knew something about rarer colours.
I now have a black one - not my ideal choice, but I can't wait around looking for the correct car in the correct colour.

My wife has a 2011 Bali Blue XS, black leather interior, 21,000 miles on the clock and full LRSH.

I have a 2011 SD4 HSE Bali Blue going in March but unfortunately as its a lease car im not sure if the dealer will have it back or whether it will go straight to auction (my last FL2 went straight to auction). Not sure you would want mine though as its been in the dealers six times this year (2 haldex units, diff bearing, diff pump, tension belt, oil leak)

Bali Blue is a love it or hate it colour. Admitably it looks purple on a dull day but on a bright or sunny day it looks absolutely stunning and its rarity certainly makes it stand out from the crowd. In almost 3 years / 40000 miles I have only ever seen 3 (yes three!!!!!) others on the road.

I have a Bali Blue 59 Plate XS manual and love the colour, as others have said I have only ever seen a couple of other Freelanders in this colour. Seen a couple of Disco's and RRS in it too and they look lovely too, Bali Blue Disco4 HSE would be my car of choice (if I could stomach/justify the fuel economy!)

Interesting to hear that the colour attracts a premium when selling or trading in - not specifically planning anything to but I know that my other half would like an Auto so may be able to use the colour when negotiating if I go for a black/grey Auto??
