Noise when steering a left turn

Hi guys,

Every time I steer to the left, a noise (not loud) like a tik tik tik is generated. You can also hear the same noise when you pass through a bumpy road.

Based on my "tests", the noise is coming from the spot where the right front wheel is connected to the main body.

Thanks in advance,

Panos[/b]

Is it really loud when you turn in an undercover carpark?

This happens to me all the time (both left and right turns) every few thousand kms. The only fix is to remove each wheel nut, grease the washer at the end, and put it back. 1st time FL2 owner. 2007 SE i6 in Tambora Flame.

I've got the same issue on mine, it's booked in for the stealers to have a look at in a few weeks time.

Dropped the car in at the dealers a few weeks ago and took it for a spin with one of the technicians. He seemed to think the sound was more central rather than to to the o/s. He suggested that it was simply the forces in play due to cornering 'at speed'. I mentioned the wheel nut issue that has been raised and they agreed to check it over. Picked it up at the end of the day, nothing apparent with suspension or drive train but they did re-torque all the wheels, interestingly the sound appears to have gone so could be a simple fix.
