According to the manual my 2010 GS has the premium stereo though I cannot get the digital radio light to illuminate as per the manual and I also appear to have a single player CD as opposed to the multi-disc as suggested. A number 1 appears when a disc is loaded though

I think so, I've got a 10MY brochure somewhere I will have a look  21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

Note also that there are different versions of the premium audio - single/multi CD, DAB/no-DAB, different numbers of speakers, etc. The premium audio with single CD is identical to the premium multi-cd, including the display, except of course that one can only insert a single CD.

So you may have the premium audio but still only have a single CD system.

Done a bit of research,

The GS had the standard radio and single slot CD player, 8x40 amplifier, auxiliary input and 9 speakers. The all have a button that says FM digital but this isn't DAB, this refers to digital tuning, DAB was an option. Your radio when switched on will say DAB I think if you have it.

Have you tried loading more than one CD? You may have the above but with 6 disc in dash CD player again no DAB

If you count the speakers and have 14 then you've got the all singing all dancing premium sound system. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200
