That reminds me of when I had a C-Class Merc in 2002. Only had it a month and while stopped at traffic lights in torrential rain heard a skidding noise followed by BANG as a tranny van smacked in to the back of me. Got out to see the front of the van caved in in a V shape; Preparing for the worst, turned round to look at my car and....nothing! Well, except for a small chip in the paint on the bumper. Couldn't believe it!

Ironically, it was the local Chips Away guy who had crashed in to me!

Only thing is, they put it back to factory spec, so HST grille now replaced by a standard grille.
HST grille was a dealer fit.
However, It's starting to grow on me, so aren't going to make a fuss about it.
On another note, insurance company investigating as it could be scammers, and having watched the video again, and trying to be impartial, they just may have a point, as the whiplash claim has gone in now from the other party.
Investigator coming to see me to view the video, and if they are scammers, then I will gladly go to court to give evidence, as I've now lost my no claims.
B ds won't get away with it if I can help it.

Ainley Top, Jcn 24 M62. Apparently another hot spot.

Quite a few accidents happen at Ainly Top. I sometimes go home that way. Its due to be re-developed in the new year as it an accident and traffic jam hot spot. Also the Tour de France route is due to go through there in July (Probably why its been re-developed) Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

Don't get me started on the Tour de France Stevie. There's enough of the bu rs get in the way now.

Despite having had numerous Landrovers including 5 freelanders i wonder if I should be banned from this site as I have a caravan, a BMW 3 series, go rambling and own several bicycles.  Jules

It's not the bikes that are the problem, it's some of the riders.
Don't want to upset every bike rider, but it's dead simple, they are also governed by the laws of the highway, should cycle with care to other road users, not ride 200 abreast on a B road at 29.5mph, respect other road users, not think they have the right of way at every turn, not get so close coming up the nearside at lights that they smack your wing mirror and then look at you as if it's your fault.
As usual, it is the minority who get the majority the bad name, and that is the same throughout all, including caravanners etc.
Again, not a personal but a generic rant.
