Water leaks

Well, the honeymoon is now well and truly over after 1300 miles. This afternoon for no apparent reason the car sprung a significant leak above my head where the A-post meets the roof above the door frame. Water dripping down the A-post trim, onto the speaker, into the bottle carrier well in the door and into the footwell. It hasn't even been raining heavily today. I had returned from a short trip out with no evidence of a problem. Got back in to go on another errand 10 minutes later and there was water where there shouldn't be! I have a sun roof but it hasn't been opened other than to prove that the mechanism works. Water leaks are invidious because it is difficult to find where they come from; they make the car smell, rust the metal and stain the trim. It hasn't come from the door aperture side. It is either the glass that has popped or a drainage hole in the sun roof that is blocked. I heard a loud noise a few weeks ago that sounded like a large stone hitting the top rail of the car at the RHS. Couldn't see any damage though. It sounded like a stress being relieved in the shell in that area. I am now wondering if a release of stress in the frame has caused the windscreen to come unstuck!! Needless to say I am thoroughly cheesed off at the moment. I've phoned the dealer and will take it in in the morning. I hope they find a reason quickly because I dread it running on and on. I'll keep the thread updated.

The car has been back to the dealer and it seems that a tube draining the sunroof was adrift. A pool of water had accumulated and manifested itself as a drip inside the cabin. Fingers crossed.

I hope your problems are over qzx372.
Can you be more specific with where this tube is? possibly a photo of the location?
Is it sth you may check with a simple inspection or do you have to dismantle stuff?
Thanks

I don't know where the tube is. I guess that it is at the top of the A-pillar RHS.
