Australia 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 SE Auto Orkney Grey
Oil pressure warning light

Hi all
I've had my 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 Se for about three months and am very happy. This is a great forum and has helped me out with a few things already.

Just a few things you all may have some answers for:
1. Dealer tells me there's no oil pressure warning light on this model, the one that comes on when switching on ignition and goes out as soon as the engine starts. The handbook says there is one.

2. I've got global window opening but not closing. I've been through the menus and handbook but can't find a solution

3. Can the side mirrors be set for kerb view when reversing or is that higher spec models only?

I look forward to any replies.

1. There is one. The bad thing is that the sensor is positioned wrong in the oil flow path and if the filter is not properly set or the bypass high pressure valve is not functioning properly, there is no warning and the engine may be ruined because of lack of oil pressure...

2. Reset the window end travel. Look in manual.

3. Only fitted on the cars with memory seats.

Thanks for that Alex.
I'll have to ask another dealer about the oil pressure light.

Global closing still doesn't work, I tried window reset as described in the manual but there's no mention of window end travel.
