Part name/number?

My FL2 is missing the plastic strip that runs down the roof where the roof bars go.

I don't have roof bars on mines but the plastic strip for the entire length (just on one side) is missing. Planning on going to my local dealer and ordering it but not exactly sure what to ask for? Does it have a name other than 'the plastic strip on the roof'?

Also, I was changing my bulbs by removing the entire headlight but made a rookie mistake and dropped one of the bolts down in the engine bay and I couldn't locate it. Probably long gone now that I've driven the car. Does anyone know the size of this bolt so I can go buy another one from eBay?

Many thanks!

Went to Land Rover today and ordered the roof trim (front and rear RH) and bolts. The prices were the same as you stated, Grease Monkey. They said the parts should hopefully be there tomorrow or Monday at the latest. Thumbs Up

Whilst I was there, I also ordered a spare wheel rim for £70 something (don't recall the exact price). I realise I could have got one cheaper elsewhere (the guy even said I could get one dirt cheap on eBay) but kinda wanted one asap before the snow hits. A spare has saved me so many times before and I'm not relying on some silly puncture repair kit!

They asked if I wanted a tyre on it, for an additional £80 but I said no (plenty of competitive tyre places in my town so I'll get a cheapy economy tyre put on elsewhere when I pick the rim up from LR).

I was supposed to ask for the price of getting a second key made but I forgot. I'll hopefully remember when I pick up my bits, will also book a full service for after the new year at the same time.

Thumbs Up
