Hello all. New to this, so bear with me.

I've ordered my Freelander2 HSE TD4 with Auto Box in Stornoway Grey from Lancaster in Reading. They quoted April for delivery, so not too long to wait. What puzzled me was the accessories list showed Roof Rails and a rather funky iPod Kit for the Audio System. When I asked if I could order these items for my car I was told that the dealer didn't know what the prices would be for both items and I couldn't order them.

Has anyone else been told this by their dealers or does anyone have any idea how much they will be?

Rather silly of LR to release details of accessories before deciding how much to charge for them isn't it . . . ?

Hi andymac - welcome to the wonderful world of Land Rover. Ordered my TD4 Auto in December I have a delivery date in mid May as production was set for end April early May so I hope LR have brought build dates forward! As for the Accessories: the roof cross bars were supposed to be delivered this week to my dealer but the roof rails have a production delay in Sweden (so guess who is making them?). So no roof rails available (makes the delivery of the cross bars a pointless exercise). For info I have also asked about the coloured mirror caps - these are not yet available either. Hopefully these issues will be sorted out by the time the diesel auto rolls off the line.

I ordered mine December 2005, should get in mid May. I think your dealer is not telling the whole truth! D4 HSE Lux for me

Mine is part of an advance order for TD4 Autos placed by the dealer in November - following your reply yesterday I gave the dealer a call and queried the delivery date with him - still 16th April, so I hope he's not telling me porkies.
