Australia 2011 Freelander 2 i6 SE Auto Santorini Black
20 inch wheels

Hi

I've seen only two pictures on here of a freelander with 20inch wheels and both were on an angle not directly side on

My tyres are nearly worn out so thinking I want to replace the standard 18inch wheels with either 19's HSE diamond tuned ones which is the safe option or go for 20inch stormer wheels

Does anyone here have any side on photos, the more the merrier that I can look at with 19's (after market) or 20" rims???

I want to see how out of place they look if at all

Thanks, Luke 2011 black FL2

20" Stormer wheels are a Disco/RR option and won't fit the Freelander unless you have found some others called stormer?

Here's mine on the 19" diamond turned rims. Not side on but gives you an idea:

You won't notice any difference in ride over the 19's whatsoever. Why would you think beach driving is not achievable? Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

Oh sorry I meant if I put 20inch wheels on then I assume it would no longer be possible to have the 55 profile tyres?

I feel like if I went any lower on the profile on the tyres there won't be enough 'bagging' in the tyres to drive on soft sand..

Has anyone seen a black on black freelander? Keen to see what that looks like 2011 black FL2

Oh, I see what you mean. You would be going from a 55 to a 45 profile, which as you quite rightly say would reduce the 'bagging' effect, but they the tyre is slightly wider?

I would have thought for sand driving, the 17' tyres would be better suited as they will have the bigger side walls, so would be better with reduced tyre pressures. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Can anyone tell me if these wheels and tyres will fit my 2011 FL2?

Tyres are 275/45/20

Wheels are eBay item eBay Item No. 261195002403

Really wish I could find more photo examples of a fl2 with after market wheels as spending 3k is a big gamble for final looks and fit!!
Very nervous to pull the trigger on buying them 2011 black FL2

40m wider Question I'm sure your need spacers to stop them rubbing....
Maybe there a reason why your not finding more examples of freelanders with after market wheels Whistle BETTER looking half of the famous Twinlanders
