Peter Vardy mystery shopper Aberdeen

below is a copy of the e mail Peter Vardy sent me, anyone else get this?

Dear big al

We are contacting you an opportunity for you to take part in some research for Peter Vardy Limited.

As part of our passion for the industry and our commitment to upholding best practice and providing an exceptional service to our customers, we are now running a Mystery Shopping Programme.

As you have recently booked your vehicle in for a Service at LAND ROVER ABERDEEN, we would like to invite you to be a part of this exciting process.

This Mystery Shop would be aimed at the After Sales experience, and a Mystery Shopper from our partner agency 'Performance in People*' would accompany you to your next Service, while filming your experience as a customer.

As part of your involvement, we will offer you a goodwill payment of £50, to thank you for participating.

Please find attached a Step-by-Step Guide which explains the process in more detail.

If you do wish to participate, please provide the details specified below as soon as possible. Upon receipt of this information, we will endeavour to include you within the Programme. Please note however that this is run on a strictly first come, first served basis.

Once we have received your confirmation:
 The mystery shopper will meet with you at an agreed location close to the Dealership on the day of the booking.
 You may select to either drop the vehicle off and pick up later or wait in Dealership while your vehicle is serviced. This programme does not allow for your vehicle to be collected and returned from your home or place of work.
 The mystery shopper will travel with you to the Dealership in your vehicle. Please note that at no point will they need to drive your vehicle.
 All interaction with the staff at the Dealership will be recorded using a hidden camera worn by the mystery shopper. The camera will be focused on the members of staff and you will only be in shot very briefly, if at all. You will not be required to use the camera at any time.
 The vehicle Service itself will proceed as any other.
 There is no requirement for you to agree to have any additional work carried out other than that which you agree to following the consultation with the Service Manager.
 Once a time has been agreed to pick up your vehicle (if applicable), please contact the mystery shopper and arrange to meet up at an agreed location, again travelling together to the Dealership.
 Once the Service is completed, you will pay for it as normal.
 Once the Service is successfully completed and you have both left the site, you will return to the agreed meeting point with the mystery shopper.
 Once there, we will ask you to complete a short feedback report, which should only take a few minutes.
 We will photograph the Service invoice (no banking details), Vehicle Health Check form, and Service Book provided by the Dealership.
 Once completed, the mystery shopper will give you a cheque for £50 as a thank you from Peter Vardy Limited for your participation.
 The video and audio footage taken during your visit will then only be used for Peter Vardy Limited training and coaching purposes.
Key Points to Note
1. At no point will the mystery shopper need to drive your car.
2. If you would like to specifically request a male or female mystery shopper, then
please do so when confirming your participation. 1995 P38 now dead

I did a mystery shopper on the same lines.
Think 50 quid is a bit stingy, I got £150 Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

My main dealer, who is indeed very good, charged me £330 and rang me three times throughout the day with progress update. Whether they suspected I don't know, but with 150 quid off, it was a bargain.
£150 is what L/R normally give to a mystery shopper.
I suspect a rat.....................

I can be tacky for 150 quid for a few mins Whistle Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

When we collect the F2 from the dealer they actually say to us Land Rover will be in touch and they'd appreciate it if we'd give them top marks for all the questions.

Seriously.

Ask them what is L/R policy regarding payment to mystery shoppers. Mine was in March this year unless the rules have changed.
The procedure of shopper is quite painless Thumbs Up Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.
