Why is the 'Brochure' wrong? I can't see any mistake in the brochure regarding lights? Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come......... |

I've had a look and can't see anything either. All cars are shown with DRLs, it just happens they are all fitted with the signature lights. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200 |

That's the signature light option so you get the signature outline along with the 7 LEDs as DRLs, cars without signature lighting only have the 7 LEDs for DRLs and presumably sidelights as wheel.

The first photo in your post is correct. I will explain. All 2013 Freelander 2's have the 7 LED DRL's and these are on when ever the car is being driven. On cars that don't have the signature strip, I beleive the LED's then dim for when used as side lights. On cars with the Signature strip, for normal day time running, both the 7 LEDs and signature strip illuminate. On cars with Signature strip, when side lights alone, it is just the signature strip and the 7 LEDs are off. On cars with Signature strip, when the dipped beam headlights are on, the signature strip is illuminated and the. LEDs are off. The brochure is 100% correct. Should have it as GS and XS 14MY cars have the halogen/signature lights as standard. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200 |

Mav71 is correct in his suggestion that the cars fitted with no signature strip use the DRL as both DRL and sidelight. When on sidelights or dipped/ main beam the DRL part dims to act as a sidelight. 2016 BMW X3 30d SE in red

I notice one side of the DLRs switch off when indicating.
