Drivers seat.

Is it me or is the drivers seat on the freely ever so slightly offset from the pedals and steering wheel?
I've had mine about a month now and did notice I was naturally sitting on the door side bolster while driving.
Now I've had the seats retrimmed in leather and they are a bit firmer it seems more pronounced.
Has anyone else noticed this or is it just me?[/i]

Had mine a month too, and I can't say I've noticed anything unusual. Steve

It's not just you, anyway. I've found exactly the same thing on my 2010 xS, but strangely don't notice it so much on the 2013 dynamic. Seats are different, so maybe its just the older cars? Fuji White MY13 SD4 Dynamic

Possibly they could have changed the position for my2013.
It's not a major but a little niggle.

My dealer said to me that they have had comments from customers saying that they find the dynamic seats more comfy and supportive than the HSE Luxury Whistle MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

Seats on all models from 2006 to 2013 are all the same. So is the seating position.

Can't see how the Dynamic seat is more comfortable than the HSE Lux seat as they are the same seat. I actually found the seat back on the Dynamic more uncomfortable due to the strip down the seat back with the stitched rib effect.

It makes that part of the seat cover harder and you can feel it in your back. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

Laughing I got told HSE Lux has bigger seats but they are not as supportive according to customer feedback at the dealership MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

Agree with OP. Didn't have this effect on my 2010HSE but noticed it a lot on my 2013XS. Glad it's the seat that's offset - thought it was my a_se!

Glad it's not just me then.
I'm going to look at having the seat moved over only needs about 10mm. It may prove to be more hassle than it's worth but if it can be done I will post details of how to do it.

They have the same seat foam for all models, so they are not any different. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........
