- eBay will send you all the details about it.
- you'll deposit the amount into eBay's representative bank account.
- after eBay confirms they have the money into their account I will purchase a next day plane ticket and you can come and pick up the car from me directly or
i will deliver it personally to you
- you inspect it.
- if you are satisfied with it, eBay will send me the money, if not, they will refund you (without taxes because is my transaction)

Now, I bet if I was to go down that route, the email allegedly from the "representative of eBay" would be telling me to send money to somewhere where it will never be seen again. Shall I take it one step furter or are you getting the idea now Alex?

Wow. I recieved a proper looking sale transaction and invoice purporting to be from eBay telling me to send the money to their agent. ...And here he is, the "Ebay representative". H Bruno. I've just forwarded it to Barclays fraud dept. Let them take it up with the account holder if he exists - no doubt I would have got a follow up email telling me of problems with that account and suggesting I send it via Western Union.
