No, there are only minor changes, as previously discussed on other threads. MY14 should be going into production around now, so ordering now and collecting in February won't be any different to collecting in March except for the 14 plate.

Personally I would wait and get a 14 plate, even if you are getting a personal plate as you should get a better trade in value when it comes to change.

When I was shopping around before placing my order was told by every dealer that production on MY14 will not commence until November 2013! No Freelanders at all would be built in October 2013. If a customer had specific requirements and the dealer did not have that vehicle in stock , the customer would have to place an order and wait for MY14. I was at the plant commissioning equipment in the paint mix room in late September and the first 2014 cars were already going through the production line. They may have only started full production of 2014 cars, but the first were going through in late September. Could have been press fleet cars, as the press fleet has to be ready to hit the road the moment the cars go on sale. So I am not incorrect. It would make sense, a few of us can vouch that the MY13 was coming down the lines, but outside there was a quite a few Freelanders wrapped in white plastic, allegedly for paint protection p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior |

The sensible thing these days, if you want to go for a bespoke and intriguing look, would be to decorate your car in camouflage stickers or white shrink wrap |
