United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Stornoway Grey
Car Height

I think this was covered recently but cant find the post?

I Pulled up at the traffic lights next to a 2010 FL2 XS and from my seat I felt there's sat Higher than my 2009 HSE, it looked like there door mirror was an inch or 2 higher same with the doors / window frame, it may have been the road camber giving the illusion I am not sure

Any one else ever notice it when parked next to another FL2, has any one got a figures for Heights ie Floor to top of the arches etc HSE TD4 Stornoway Grey ★ Rear Spoiler ★ Black Leather Interior ★ Panoramic Roof ★ Navigation with Bluetooth ★ 19 " Alloys ★ Alpine Stereo 10 Disc Auto changer and Ipod connection and lots of other nice toys ★

I think it's an illusion, one was driving towards me the other day and his looked bigger. But when sitting next to one they are both the same. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

They're all pretty much the same height although depending on which size wheels and tyres you fit some do look higher or lower than others but ........it's an illusion.

England 2009 Freelander 2 TD4_e HSE Manual Santorini Black

Fortunately I have 2 freelys on the drive both HSE both on same rims/tyres one is an 08 the other 09 and there is a definite difference in height. The 08 is about 3cm higher, it was bought second hand with full main dealer service history but I have often wondered if it had been lifted somehow.

My belly hasn't Rolling with laughter

It's interesting that the older car above, is the one that is higher, I would have thought if anything that an older car would sit slightly lower as the springs sag?

One thing I can't remember seeing is a fully loaded FL that looks like it is loaded up, most cars take on peculiar aspects but not seen that with our cars.
