I use a microfibre wash mitt and Muc-off shampoo. Never taking my FL2 to the car wash again after all the damage they have caused! |

Thanks for the link👍 what damage did they cause? I'd never get anyone to wash my car even if they were washing it for free MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

I wash down my wheels first with the power wash. Then use Valetpro billberry wheel cleaner. Wash wheels down again. I then jet wash the car to loosen the dirt. I then wash a panel at a time using the two bucket method. I use triple wax shampoo and a big microfiber sponge thing. Jet wash panel then move to next panel. Once all done I dry the car down with a large microfiber towel. My car has swirls on the paint work, they were there when I bought the car so I don't know if I have added more swirls or not? Being a white car its hard to see them. Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

Moved away from Shampoo and Wax mixes a few years ago, washed as normal but still seemed dirty, found out to be the wax in the Shampoo sealing layers of grime to the paintwork, now use a proper either Chemical Guys No Touch Snow Foam or Autoglym's Bodywork Shampoo Conditioner, dried with Microfibre towels, and depending on what it needs, a coat or two of Werstat Jett and Werstat Gloss, or just the Gloss.

Up till now, I have had it washed at the annual service. However having moved to the revolting muddy countryside AND stupidly bought a Santorini Black model I suppose I'm going to have to wash it occasionally. Think I've got a bucket and sponge somewhere.
