England 2014 Freelander 2 TD4 Dynamic Manual Fuji White
Best leasing deals

Due to the fact i'm spending a lot on my 2009GS making it look younger (facelift) and adding accessories i was thinking leasing a new car would work out cheaper.
Now as most Freelanders are £30k + i'm assuming some members must lease and some of those might have a personal lease (more expensive than company) so i was hoping some of you might give me an idea on monthly figures.
I don't do many miles so 5-6k a year would do, maintenance package isn't important, low/ no deposit ideal and if you got yours from a dealer did they take your old car in trade in or did you have to sell privately?

Thanks Thumbs Up

This works very well and is quite accurate to what I am paying with the variables entered.

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Stornoway Grey

I looked at leasing, finance and PCP deals when we bought ours. As Land Rover don't finance their cars themselves, they use Santander, the interest on all these deals is horrendous!

We bought ours for outright cash as I don't like things on the never never. But the 4 year PCP had over £4500 interest!!! Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

My one was with LR finance through FGA capital 5.9% which was pretty good as the Evoque was 10.9% on a similar PCP deal.

Got the LR £2000 contribution, that was back in May though.

The PCP suits me as I trade in often, probably more often than I should. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

2013 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Auto Santorini Black

I have leased (PCP & PCH) cars many times - and generally the internet brokers are a lot cheaper than the main dealers (they use a higher residual value generally than the dealers do so the monthly payments are lower). As long as you are not keeping the vehicle at the end of the lease then this works quite well.

However - it seems hard to get good lease deals for Freelanders from the independant brokers. Often the LR dealers are very close in price so I have used them instead. (Coming) 2016 RR Evoque td4 180 HSE Dynamc
(Going) 2013 TD4 GS Auto - Santorini Black with black leather. Cold Climate, UK Lighting & Armrest Packs. Privacy Glass. LR Rubber Mats. Full size spare.
60 000 miles averaging 35mpg

(Gone) 2010 TD4 Manual GS - Stornoway Grey. Sold at 3yrs old & 64k miles. Final average consumption 39.2mpg.

United Kingdom 2011 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Auto Bali Blue

I have gone down the personal lease option for my past 2 freelanders through a leasing company rather than LR on the basis that after the term i hand the keys back. However the Dynamic I was considering was stupid money - much more than what I am paying for my SD4 HSE, even another HSE was gonna cost me over £50 a month more than what I pay now which for a car that 'in my opinion' is past its shelf life was too much. In the end I spoke with the leasing company I deal with regarding other vehicles and have managed to get a BMW X3 Msport almost fully loaded for less than what I am currently paying.

The leasing company confirmed that due to the success of the Evoque, RRS and FFRR they (Landrover) dont need to entice people to the brand thus are giving the leasing companies no discounts - in comparison I have seen the cost breakdown against the BMW and there is a £4,500 discount on the price.

Had confirmation that its being built during the 5th week of 2014 so should be with me mid March - once I have it i will post my finding comparing it to the FL2, there are many things I like about it compared to the FL2 but no doubt there will be things I will miss as well. First plus is I can have 5 years servicing for a one off cost of £425!! come on LR offer something similar i can only get 1.5 services for that cost!!! Now - 2017 BMW X3 M Sport Carbon Black
Gone - 2014 BMW X3 M Sport Space Grey, faultless!
Gone - 2011 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Bali Blue with xenons
Gone - 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Rimini Red with bodykit
