Brand new Range Rover has top taken off.

Brand new RRS has been in a bump and the fire brigade has taken the roof off. Only done 400 miles!

The Nanny State, happens all the time, slightest whiff of a neck injury and off comes the roof, not to worry though, our excessive premiums will buy them a new one Thumbs Up

I also like the sensational reporting...'a tiny 107' .. they must also come in other sizes Laughing

nanny state
n. Informal
A government perceived as having excessive interest in or control over the welfare of its citizens, especially in the enforcement of extensive public health and safety regulations.

Maybe Chicken and egg with the ambulance chasers, still a waste of a damn fine motor though, absolutely no need for whipping the roof off....how long before the bits are on eBay Laughing

Interesting booklet here too for those wishing to see what goes on and why its needed.

the occupants must have felt they were injured to sit in the new £50k motor (thats cheap for a new RRS isn't it Wink ) and push it to a fake injury in their new car to a point were they cut the roof off for a £3k pay out and months of visits to hospital for treatment Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

I think an important note here is that if you witness an accident, don't offer a place to the injured people in your car to keep warm. There has been a few instances were this has happened only for the paramedics to say the person cant be moved and then the fire brigade come along and remove your roof!

I hope there isn't a long waiting list for a new RRS? I bet the new owner waited for months for the new motor, I wonder if they will wait for a new one to be built? Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

Something not quite right here, a car weighing more than 2 ton hit a dinky toy and the 2 ton beast had to have the roof removed yet the dinky toy is battered but intact. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200
