FL2 new tax band?

So the top car tax band is now £300 this year and £400 next but that does not help us knowing what we will be paying when the next tax is due for the FL2??

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Stornoway Grey

FL2 TD4 is a band F car.

The current tax is £190 + £5 diesel supp.

in 2007/8 this will go up by £10 - I assume then it'll be £200 + £5. In the following 2 years, it'll go up £5 a year.

For group G cars (I assume the I6), the rate is currently £210. This will be £300 in 07/08 and £400 in 08/09.

Not too bad then ????

I thought are band would be just below the £400 as well so that is a nice suprise,as long as it stays like that i shall not be to upset.

Phew! With the diesel auto I've ordered coming in at 224g/Km I was worried G.B. would change the bands as the top band starts at 225g/Km. That 1g/Km means £100 saved and £200 next year. Now where's that accessory brochure... Laughing
