Sat Nav question

With several references to Volvo discs being compatible with our systems, does anyone know if Volvo HDD RTI discs will work in a 57 SE? Have need to update from a 2009/10 disc to a more recent edition, having bought what I thought was an original LR disc from eBay (daft old git) and it wasn't - and which let me down several times on a longish journey. LR update from dealers retails at around £150 / £160 which seems like daylight robbery.
