Look good. Where did you get them from? So many out there and so many people having issues with them. Would prefer to buy some that are recommended.
Thanks 2011 XS SD4, Indus Silver (Getting to love it more and more)

I got them off ebay. I don't have a link for them anymore, I got for my old FL1 but never fitted them. I never had a problem with them in that either. Sorry I can't help you out with a link.

Can I ask, when the interior lights dim before switching off, do the LED's do the same, as dimming a filament bulb is easy, just reduce the voltage but LED's don't dim as the voltage decreases, they stay the same until the power is too low for them to operate and just go off, or at least that is my understanding. The usual methods of dimming an LED is reducing the current I think.

Just curious  MY2014 SD4 XS

I haven't noticed to be honest. They come on and go off at the right time so I'm happy lol

Scrimple, I've been out in the FL2 today and yes, they do dim before they go out completely.

Bit of a thread revival but I also recently did this and spent quite a while researching.

I used canbus error free LEDs and the car is a MY10 FL2 Smile

A 501 or seems to be called a wedge will fit:

Footwell X 2
Vanity X 2
Door Puddle X 2
Mirror puddle X 2
Number plate X 2
Glove box X 1

A 42MM Festoon will fit:

Dome lights X 2

A T4W BA9S cap Bayonet NB: This needs to be reverse/no polarity

Reading light X 2

Reading lights LED are very hard to find with no polarity .... Neutral

Do you have a link for those? Cheers. Freelander 2 XS MY 2012, 19" rims, Barolo Black. Privacy glass, spoiler.

keikeimok - agree with you they are hard to find (and I bought a shed load of 'normal' ones which obviously don't work. Embarassed )

Try searching on ebay for T4W BA9S reverse polarity and it does bring up a few results

edited to say 'just tried searching on ebay and found the results are from Australia'. So no good for us northern folk

Has anyone had a problem where the LED interior lights work fine with switches on or off, but stay on very dimly in door open mode?

Thanks.
