So the key to open the door when the fob doesn't work is inside the fob!?!

Just press the plastic holding clip and pull. |

The battery may have some charge when you get it, but it's unlikely to be much. So yes, a good drive should sort it. |

I have opened the key fob and put in a new battery and now the key fob does not work?? No lights and can't stick it together again? |

I had the same problem, followed your advice and it works perfectly, although I haven't glued the fob back yet, might give it a month |
