Sunroof problem

I have a problem with the push and release functionality that closes and opens the sunroof. I have to keep it press until the sunroof close or opens and it doesn’t seems to open or close properly (i.e. after opening it moves few cm towards the closing direction and also it doesn’t stop when it close but it moves to till position.)
Did someone else experience this?
Does anyone kows how to solve this problem?

There is a Land Rover recall out for sunroofs. Something to do with fitting additional retaining clips. While your problem may not be related it might be worth speaking to your Dealer about the recall and getting them to look at your problem at the same time.

Note as the sunroof recall is not safety related you will not receive a recall notice from Land Rover, the Dealers will do it as and when you next visit them.

Safety Related Recall now issued by Land Rover for 2007 and 2008 Model Year Freelander 2 vehicles. I received notification from Land Rover today although my Dealer did the recall about a month ago. Recall Programme Number is P009.

You have described my problem exactly. I have tried the recalibration method to no avail. Any news on yours?
