Goodyear Ultra Grip Winter Tyres

Does anybody have experience of these Goodyear Winter Tyres?
They are recommended by Landrover for winter use. Slight disadvantage as far as I can see is they are rotational fit.

Looks a very aggressive tread. No doubt 'acid test' will be when the white stuff falls later in the winter....

Agressive and noise are subjective.

I normally run Goodyear MTRs, full mud tyres, the noise is beautiful, and they work very well in ........ mud!

I run Goodyear Ultra Grip in the winter, what can I say, they are very quiet(er), not as good in mud, better on fuel economy. Not noticed any difference when the weather turns cold, but that's the point they don't make you invincible, they just allow you to continue when there is lots of snow around.
The drawback is you can drive in poor conditions, then step out of the car and fall on your Censored because you haven't realised just how bad the conditions are, done that twice.

Can't comment on the wear as they have only done 12K.

Will be replacing them with the same when they are worn out. Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her
Replaced by Ewok what a mistake - now a happy Disco Sport owner

Very helpful - thanks. And I will wear similar treads on my boots to avoid falling on my Censored !
