Advice on rear spoiler

Looking to add a rear spoiler to the freely my2011, does anyone have any advice on which ones to go for and which need avoiding?
I'm wanting the standard look and have seen abs plastic ones on fleabay for £89.99 does this sound about right or at that price will it be ill fitting and flimsy?
Also on the look out for some chrome fog surrounds but can only find ones to fit pre facelift freelanders.
Many thanks peeps.

£90 is about right for a copy. I am going to get a genuine one for my new Freely. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

Do you think there will be any difference between a real one and a copy once they are painted and fitted?

Quite a lot of members have fitted aftermarket ones including myself Thumbs Up
Don't see why you should payout LR prices if you can get the same look for a fraction of the price

Have a look at my gallery's there's a few photos in there of mine fitted Wink BETTER looking half of the famous Twinlanders

That's a tidy looking motor. The spoiler looks great.
Can I ask where you got the fog bezels from. I can't seem to find any for the 2011 fogs.

No difference to the one you have fitted here Mav, I would say that was a powerfuluk spoiler if you never said it was a LR part Whistle

Once fitted there seems to be little difference, the only real difference is the clips at either end are not as good on the copies, I think one or two have changed them or modified them.

I have the genuine one which was fitted at the factory, £155 option IIRC, I know some didn't have that option, dealer stock, pre owned etc. even if mine didn't have it I would still buy the LR one, I've spent a lot of money buying the car so I don't scrimp when it comes to accessories I like everything to be genuine parts.

That's just me, it's how I've always been, I don't smoke or drink (maybe a shandy, sad I know) so spend my hard earned cash on my passion which is my Land Rovers, I would love to have enough money to have any open top Defender for some summer fun but until then my Fl2 gets all the loving it needs. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

We'll I went for the powerfuluk spoiler.
Had it sprayed and got it back today, just held it up to the car and it's looking good.
Do I really need to use the brackets? Always remember a friend fitting a spoiler on his skyline only using the sticky pads and it was still in place after he rolled it through a hedge!

I would say that was completely your choice
The tape that's supplied with the spoiler is strong but after spending all that money would you really take the chance..
After all once its fitted and the tailgate is down the brackets aren't really on show

What's your concern with the brackets making you not want to fit them with the spoiler Question BETTER looking half of the famous Twinlanders
