they all do it. Nothing to worry about. 07 Freelander 2 TD4SE Tambora Flame, side steps, privacy glass, mud flaps, boot liner and a tow bar. Ok it's the Wifes but she lets me drive it occasionally - if I've been good! |

Read here somewhere that it's the hydraulic pump loading the aldex/transmission so that at the next start if you start quicly you have 4X4 power available imediately.

Tought you had this also on the Smart Sorry meant HALDEX not ALDEX. Don't worry in a couple of weeks you will get yours with all the nice noises we hear. As yours will be on petrol and petrol is bound to even quieter than our gentle diesel you will probably hear even more noises.
