Just done another quote with wbac, did one in august before I orderd our new car and they offerd £15250, and the dealer offerd me £15500 and today's quote was £17445 that's was a bit of a surprise , I guess time of the year has a bit of factor, even if they knock off £500 odd off as they will probably find a fault cause they have too that's a good price , I have someone who is showing a fair bit of interest in it so it may not be going to the dealers now , may even go to wbac.[/i]

Keep at your dealer, your dealer should be able to offer more than WBAC.

Depends what dealer!! My local Lookers wouldn't offer me as much as WBAC and that was against a brand new Freelander Dynamic.

Like you Hicksy, I got another quote recently and it had gone up by over a Grand.

Just did a Quote on WBAC and it came in with a sum, did it again but changed the postcode and it came in £900 more

WBAC always put their values up.

When I sold the Evoque WBAC offered £22600 after a year on a £30000 car (May 2013)

Dealer £27000, deal done. After ignoring WBAC their value slowly goes up.

It's the only place where a car gains in value the longer you have it

WBAC are in my experience a complete bunch of cowboys. They will offer an initial high bid on the proviso they will examine the car and then reduce the offer for every tiny mark. They work on the basis that you are desperate to sell and will reduce their offer accordingly. Save yourself the time and avoid.

I'm not going to sell it there , as I seem to have a serious enquiry from someone else , The £15500 is what Audi valued it back in August when I orderd my new car, I'm pretty sure lr would give me a fair bit more if I went back for another freelander

Lookers in Park Royal offered a stunning deal trading in my 2011 D4 HSE for a FL2 HSE Lux. WBAC 'valuation' for my D4 was £4K less than Lookers!!!

I bought from lookers park royal, but they ain't gonna offer that sort of extra cash over wbac as its just a buy back as my next car is an audi , to be fair to wbac I don't think they are far from the right price even if they do knock some off , I started the thread because I was surprised how much the cars value went up from August to now ,

Audi to Landrover, that explains it. This usually is the case with any dealer if you trade in a different make. Anyhow, enjoy your new FL2.

Bursztyn, wrong way round I'm going from landrover to audi. Good news for me though I have sold it today to someone else so Audi are not having it now , it's leaving us on the first of December ,

Apologies didn't read your thread thoroughly. Anyway, good luck. LR have confirmed build date for mine but can't commit to confirming delivery to Lookers prior to Christmas although 'computer says 25th'!!
